Teachers are required in every field of study and certain subjects
have greater demand. Like for example, there is a high demand of
English teachers in some countries of the world. The countries in
Middle East, North Asia and South America hire huge numbers of English
teachers each year in a very lucrative salary.
To teach English in the foreign countries, the teachers have to have
English as their mother tongue or have near native English skills.
Along with high proficiency in English, the teachers have to have a
TESOL or TEFL certificate. These are vocational training for teaching
English as second language or foreign language. These qualities will
help people to get a great career in teaching. With experience, there
can also be a significant rise in the salary of the teachers. In some
of the countries, the ESL teachers are paid enough to have a

Types of teaching careers

Montessori teaching or teaching preschoolers- It can be a very challenging job as the teachers at this level have the entire responsibility of the child. It is first stage of education and social bonding of the child and trained teachers are required for this job.

Primary teachers: there are special trainings for teachers teaching at the primary level. At this level, the class teacher spends the day with one class and is expected to teach all the seven main subjects. Teachers with other talents like music, painting and physical education are appreciated.

Secondary teachers: teachers at the secondary level have to have specializations in the subjects they teach. There are special teachers training for these teachers. The teachers are expected to plan lessons and also indulge in extracurricular activities.

Apart from the schools, teachers have opportunities in the colleges and universities and also language schools.

The English teachers also have the opportunity to train adults on their language skills and soft skills. Mostly corporate offices and language schools hire these teachers.
