There are huge prospects of ESL jobs in India as the demand of English teachers here are very high. Local schools both government and private hire teachers who are trained. TESOL certificates are not yet mandatory for teachers who teach English as second language in India at the school level. However, the demand of TESOL certified teachers for language schools and corporate offices are high.

School Teachers: India is a big country, with very high population. There are millions of schools located all over the country and demand of schoolteachers is very high here. Teaching schools kids is a good career option monetarily and it also gives lots of mental satisfaction. To teach at the schools in India, the teachers have to have some sort of teachers training. Voice and Accent Trainers: Another very important form of ESL jobs in India is the Voice and Accent Trainers. The growing BPO Industry of India has led to this demand. As most of the western jobs are outsourced to India, it has become necessary for the Indians not only to know the language but also to learn the accent. A TESOL or TEFL certified ESL teacher is a perfect candidate for this job as they are specially trained in language skills and knows how to teach English as second language.

Soft skill trainers: Companies in India mostly hire soft skill trainers for training their employees. In India, most of the official works both private and governments require the knowledge of English. Soft skill training is a great form of ESL job and the teachers will be able to utilize whatever they have learned from the TESOL or TEFL courses.
